Specifications

Cloisonne (Hard Enamel) lapep pin is an art developed centuries ago in China. This kind of pin is the most expensive pin we have. It has a very luxurious look and the colors will not fade for over 100 years. If you would like to have a high quality lapel pin for promption or collection, this would be your choice.

How they are made:
An imprint of the design is stamped onto a sheet of metal. The recessed areas are filled with a glass like mixture. Every time a new color is added, the pin is then fired at a temperature of over 1,500 degrees; this process eliminates the colors from bleeding. The colors in the pin are separated by your choice of gold or silver metal. The pins are then polished to a smooth jewelry like finish.
