Fiji mahogany is allowed by CITES (Annex B / Appendix II) because its NOT NATIVE TO FIJI.
We supply timber/lumber as a result of cut-of-log (mixture of sizes) directly from source. Limit for sizes and grades are:
Thickness: From 1 inch (4/4) to 4 inch (16/4).
Widths: From 2 inches (50mm) to 12 inches (300mm).
Lengths: From 1.8m (6ft) to 6m (20ft).
Grading Rules followed:
Fiji Forestry Department Mahogany grading rules (Best suited for Fiji mahogany).
Grades: From Rustic to Select & Better timber grades, depending on log grades obtained for milling.
Density:
1.3kg per bf, or 570kg per m3 (Air Dried)
