Compact heat recovery ventilator VUT mini brings a continuous supply of fresh air into premises while exhausting an equal amount of contaminated air. At the core of VUT mini (like at any HRV) there is a heat transfer module. Both the exhaust and outdoor air streams pass through the module and the heat from the exhaust air is used to pre-heat the outdoor air stream. Only the heat is transferred; the two air streams remain physically separated. Typically, VUT mini is able to recover from 50 to 75 percent of the heat from the exhaust air and transfer it to the incoming air. This dramatically reduces the energy needed to heat outdoor air to a comfortable temperature.

The case VUT mini is made of aluminum zinc alloy (sheet metal) with internal sound and thermal insulation. Insulation is made of inflammable material - mineral cotton, which thickness is 1”. There are 2 inbuilt filters with G4 cleaning level for the exhaust and incoming air filtration.

The filter allows purifying air from dust, poplar down, mosquitoes, leaves, etc. VUT mini is equipped with the inflow and exhausting centrifugal fans with the backward curved impellers and inbuilt protective thermostat with automatic restart. Motors and impellers are dynamically balanced in two platitudes. Aluminum heat recovery core configured for efficient cross-flow ventilation. The "summer" insert is foreseen for those units that do not have heat exchange. A special drain pan for condensate collecting and diversion is placed under heat exchanger's module. VUT mini is equipped with automatic defrost mechanism. When the supply air stream goes below 230 F, the supply motor shuts down while the exhaust motor continues to ventilate.

Ambient air is passed through the unit for a period of 5 minutes. The supply motor will then re-starts and run at the preset speed. This fan shutdown defrost cycle continues until the supply air stream rises above 230 F.

 VUT mini is perfect for:

 -Apartment ventilation;

-Whole house ventilation;

-Commercial premises ventilation (cafe, restaurants, swimming pools, shops, etc).

 
Installation:

Compact size and vertical or horizontal options add flexibility at installation. Ideal for application where the space is limited: install it on the floor or at the suspended ceiling, in niche or just openly. Installation is also possible in subsidiary rooms (balcony, closet, cellar, garret etc.)

Important: the HRV should be installed in such a position to provide condensate and drainage collection.

Serviceability: Core, filter, motors and drain pan can be easily accessed through latched front door.
