Adopting photoelectric sensing principle, when fire break out and smoke enters the light-tight chamber of detector then the smoke particles cause the infrared light reflex. As receiving unit receive certain extent of emitting light, the fire alarm will be activated. The due-colored LEDs are built in the main body in order to easily identify the status of the detector. Green light blinks every 15 seconds to indicate the detector is working normally and red light lights up continuously to indicate fire alarm activated.
With photoelectric sensing principle, this kind of detector is activated more quickly, accurately and reliably, and there is no false alarm due to chemicals, leaked gas or external light.
