King of Fighters NeoWave     
 
The first King of Fighters game to appear on Sammy's Atomiswave system. This version sees the return of many favourite teams from past versions.

The game will feature the all new "Heat Mode" and 3D backgrounds. The game mechanics remain relatively unchanged 3 on 3 team fighting. With players relying on power stocks to execute super moves.

The teams are:-
Japan Team - Benimaru, Kyo, Goro '98 Boss Team - Shermie, Yashiro, Chris
'97 Team - Billy, Blue Mary, Yamazaki
Wild Card Team - Kula Diamond, Saisyu Kusanagi, Shingo'99 Team - Whip, K', Maxima
Fatal Fury Team - Terry, Andy, Joe
Art of Fighting Team - Robert, Ryo, Takuma
Korea Team(first time without KIM KAPHWAN) - Choi, Jhun, Chang
Iori's '96 Team - Iori, Vice, Mature
Psycho Soldier Team - Chin, Athena, Sie Kensou
Woman Fighters Team - King, Mai, Yuri
Ikari Team - Leona, Clark, Ralf
