Key Features of Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge:
Live A-scan mode and B-can
0.01mm (0.001 in) resolution
This AUT500 Live A-scan mode allows users to view the ultrasound waveform (or A-scan) directly on the gauge's display, verify the thickness measurement, and make manual adjustments to gain and blanking settings to maximize measurement performance in challenging application. This helpful option features Manual Gain Adjust, Extended Blanking, Echo Blank Range, Gate, and Delay.
This feature is very helpful when making measurements on sound- attenuating materials such as cast metals. Manual Gain Adjust can be configured in 1-dB or 6-dB increments (Live A-scan mode only)
Allows blanking unwanted echoes due to material surface noise caused by rough or irregular surface (Live A-scan mode only)
B-scan display the cross section of test material. The waveform at the minimum thickness location is captured.
In Echo- Echo mode, it could have thru coating capability. The paint thickness is up to 10mm.
Adjustment of manual range control or auto zoom tracking to center echoes independent of selected range.
Alarm Mode
Reduction Rate Measurement
Displays thickness and percent difference between actual measurement and reference value.
Displays current thickness, minimum or maximum thickness depending on setting.
Displays the difference from the actual thickness measurement and a user entered reference value.
