Photo-thermal reactor is a new type of reaction instrument with the combination of the simultaneous photo and thermal effects on the reaction. The light source used has the wave number of 254 nm.

       The controllable temperature of the furnace is up to 350 ^oC and the light source is located outside of the furnace to be separated from the heat source. The gas outlet port is connected to chromatograph for products detection under the help of the six-valve and there are a syringe import and a pulse injector port before the reactor. The instrument has two gas lines especially applicable for corrosive gas, for example, hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide and so on.
