This corrugated flat duct is formed by the round post tensioning tube directly. Its special corrugations, high radial stiffness well adapted for use as void former in. It is also being used as culverts and forms for concrete pipes, plinths and columns, used to reduce the cross section area and thus the weight of the structure. Approximately 40% weight can be reduced and favorable effect on foundation. With the concrete construction wall and slab thickness request, this flat duct is widely adopted in post tensioning industry. This is also our main ducts exported for overseas countries. With our patent extending technology, the flat duct surface can be protected smoothly. The flat tubes meet with structural design specifications for void former. It is a very rigid but yet light weight sheet metal tubing that without excessive deforming, withstands existing forces during the pouring of the concrete. The spiral seam is tight and no water from the concrete will enter the tube.
