The patented TELEVAC Cold Cathode Ion Sensors have proven accuracy at ultra-high vacuums. They are highly sensitive and will maintain their discharge to much lower pressures. The 7FC cathode can be controlled by a Televac MC300 gauge controller or MM200 gauge controller.

 

Unlike hot filament ion sensors that won’t tolerate large pressure bursts without compromising its filaments, the 7FC is impervious to accidental inrushes of gas. The design of 7FC gauge tube allows for easy disassembly for quick cleaning and long term use.
