The code name of Hydrolytic Polyacrylonitrile Ammonium Salt is NH4-HPAN (former name: High Temperature High Pressure Hydrolytic Polyacrylonitrile). It is a product resulted from hydrolysis Polyacrylonitrile under high temperature high pressure. It is a new type of drilling fluid additive.
I. Usage and function:
1. Reduce the water loss of the mud especially high pressure water loss.
2. Better thermostability.
3. Excellent mud rheological property.
4. Have a certain ability to inhibit the clay from hydrating and resist landslide.
5. Have better effect of antiseizing.
6. Have a certain ability of salt and calcium resistance.

IV. Usage and add-on:
Used in the bentonite-fresh water or bentonite-salt water mud system, it not only can be used singlely but also can combine with other mud additives. The dosage should be among 0.3~1.5%.
