Agitator Shaft

The agitator shaft are one of the core components in the mixing system.

 

 When designing the agitator shaft, it should be checked through calculation of bearing torque of whole equipment, calculation of bending moment, synthetic calculation of torque and bend moment and so on methods. The agitator shaft can use solid shaft or seamless steel tube, the cost of seamless steel tube are lower than solid shaft, but the shaft choosing was decided by it's working conditions.

 

 The material of shaft can be carbon steel, normal stainless steel, special stainless steel, titanium alloy and so on, besides, the steel surface with antiseptic treatment( rubber lining,PTEF lining,PP polymer plastic lining, PE polymer plastic lining and so on) also can be selected, as well as nonmetal materials--nylon.

 

The designing of agitator shaft can be divided into several steps according to install spaces, we advice that the agitator shaft need not divided designing if less than 6m.

Application

The connection of agitator shaft through flanges, for example, solid shaft can use rigid flange coupling or clamping coupling. 

If the agitator shaft applied in food industry and pharmaceutical industry, the agitator shaft will need fine processing, and we can achieve the polishing through our special-used polishing equipment, the polishing precision can reach at the mirror effect.
