Specifications
From big to small and hollow to mush, the Slingshot Screamer will handle any surf you can find. Based on the T-Rex and Angry Swallow shape, the 2016 Screamer features a parallel outline that reduces drag and increases water speed to get more upwind performance in all surf conditions, without jeopardizing stability.
The single concave and " pull-in" thumb tail allows the board to handle more speed while the truncated nose design significantly reduces swing weight making airs spin and flip tricks easier than any other board.
Available in 5'2" , 5'4" and 5'6" lengths, the Screamer's stubby shape significantly reduces front-end weight, thus making strapless airs, spins and flip tricks easier than with more traditional shapes.
New this year, the stomp pad and tail inserts have been moved back over the fins to allow riders a more aggressive stance and attack, whether riding strapless strapped-in. A 5'6" length was also added to the lineup, providing an excellent option for lower wind, smaller swell or larger riders.
The Screamer also features a tri-fin FCS II setup allowing you to customize the ride to your conditions and riding style. Also new this year, Slingshot is the first brand to incorporate the new FCS II fin system, no more tools!
Each of the sizes of the Screamer rides like a larger board yet without the weight and hassle.
Riders looking for a high performance boards that it is super fast and user knowledgeable. The Slingshot Screamer is ideal for big and small surf and can be ridden with or without straps.
