PROPERTIES BRIEFING:

Methylene Chloride is a volatile colour-less and volatile liquid and has a smell and sweet that is like either,relative density 1.3266(20/4℃),m.p.-96.7℃,b.p.40.4℃.If it is mixed with high concentrated oxygen,the explosive mixture is formed,but it is not in-flammable.It is one of the low-boiling-point industrial solvents that have small toxicity,no inflammable.It has good solvency for many resin,wax and fat,soluble in water slightly,easy soluble in other chloro-solvent,ethoxy-ethane and ethanol.Methylene Chloride can take place hydrolysis with water in a certain temperature.The commercial Methylene Chloride often contains stabilizer in order to prevent decomposition. 

APPLICATION:

Methylene Chloride has strong solubility and no toxicity advantage etc,,It is wide used for manufacturing safety film and Polycarbonate and can also be used for solvent of paint,cleaner for metals.gas-fog spray agents,polyurethane foaming agent,mold release agent,paint remover. 

PACKAGE,STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION:

Methylene Chloride should be packaged with galvanized iron drum or black iron drum or tanker in sealing.Its filling co-efficiency should not be more than 0.8.

This product should be kept in a cool,dry and ventilation place.When storage and transportation,the relevant regulations of dangerous goods in storage transportation issued by departments on railway and highway in China should be followed ,when package,storage and transportation,it should be checked if the cover is close and there is leakage.
