Properties Easily soluble in ethyl acetate, acetone, soluble in dichloromethane, ether, chloroform, ethanol and alkali and alkaline carbonate solution, slightly soluble in benzene, insoluble in water and petrol.
Uses this is a common accelerator, widely used for varieties of rubbers, it has fast acceleration effect on natural rubber and regular vulcanized synthesis rubber, also could be used as a peptizer. It is bitter, not suitable for the rubber products contacting with food. Mainly used for the manufacturing of tire tube, rubber tape, shoes and industrial products.
