UNIFLOX COLISTIN treats gastrointestinal, urinary and respiratory tract infections caused by microorganisms.

+ Enrofloxacin 100,000 mg
+ Colistin sulphate 2,000,000 1.U.
Indications
- Enrofloxacin has antibacterial activity against a broad spectrum of Gram-negative and Gram-Positive bacteria,
- Its mechanism of action Is to act by Inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase (a type-II topoisomerase), thereby preventing DNA supercoiling and DNA synthesis.
- the bacterial cell membrane is the initial site of action for colistin.
- Colistin binds to LPSs and phospholipids in the outer cell membrane of Gram-negative bacteria.
- UNIFLOX COLISTIN is indicated for gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by colistin and enrofloxacin sensitive microorganisms like Campylobacter, E. Coll,
Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. in poultry.
Dosage
- Poultry; Preventive: 1 mL per 4 Litres of drinking water.
- Treatment: 1 mL per 2 Litres drinking water during 3-6 days.
