Thiamphenicol 100 mg

Indications
- Thiamphenicol is about 3X as potent compared to other pehnicols. after entering a bacterial cell thiamphenicol binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit preventing peptide bond formation.
- Thiamphenicol is a broad spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, in particular Spirochetes, Rickettsiae, Pasteurella, Treponema and Bordetella spp. It is indicated for gastrointestinal and respiratory infections in cattle and poultry caused by microorganisms susceptible to thiamphenicol.

Dosage
for oral administration.
1 Litre per 1000 Litres of drinking water.
