Unimox Gentamicin
UNIMOX GENTAMICIN is a broad-spectrum antibiotic highly effective against Gram-positiveand Gram-negative bacterias.
Composition (per 1 gm)
Amoxycillin (as trihydrate) 150 mg
Gentamicin Sulphate 100 mg
Indications
- Amoxicillin is similar to penicillin in its bactericidal action against susceptible bacteria during the stage of active multiplication.
- It acts through the inhibition of cell wall blosynthesis that leads to the death of the bacteria. Gentamicin is a bactericidal antibiotic that works by irreversibly binding the 305 subunit of the bacterial ribosome, Interrupting protein synthesis.
- UNIMOX GENTAMICIN is indicated for treatment of infections of alimentary, respiratory, and urogenital tracts caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as: E.Coli, Clostridia, Salmonella, Proteus, Coryne bacteria, Listeria, Pasteurella, Staphylococci, Streptococci. Pseudomonas and Klebsiella.
Dosage
- Poultry: Preventive: 1 gm per 4 Litres of drinking water.
- Treatment 1 gm per 2 Litres of drinking water during 3-5 days
