housing always assemble with wiring harness are attached to each part of the vehicle. the vehicle is divided into two parts: dry area and wet area.

 

Non-waterproof type 7 pin automotive  should be used in the dry area, while waterproof type should be used for the connector in the wet area. the waterproof connector and housing is mainly achieved by waterproof rubber seal wire. If the housing is fixed vertically in wet areas, consider adding a rubber seal to the exterior of the housing.

 

for the 7 pin automotive connector and housing in the wet zone, the empty hole position without assembly terminal shall be sealed with rubber seal.
