BNC connectors have a bayonet-lock interface. It exists in 50 and 75 ohm versions. Typically, they are specified for use at frequencies up to 4 and 2 GHz, respectively. BNC connectors are the most prevalent in computer networks, audio, video, data processing, and telecommunications equipment because of their size and relatively low installed cost.
