UHP technology can pressurize ordinary water to have the pressure of 250-400Mpa, then the water is jetted out at a high speed about 800-1000m/s from the gem muzzle with diameter of bore approximately 0.10-0.35mm. This jet has high energy and can be used to cut soft material. If sufficient grinding material is added to the jet, it can cut soft and hard materials. After its jet pressure and flow is adjusted, it can clean various articles, such as degumming, removal of lacquer and rust, etc. UHP technology can also be used for high pressure sterilization, food fresh-keeping, etc.

Characteristics of UHP Water Cutting Machine: It can carry out once cutting with any material at any curve (other cutting methods are all subject to the restriction of material type); It won't produce heat and hazardous material during cutting, and the material has no thermal effect (cold state cutting). After the cutting, the material is easy for secondary processing. It is safe, environmental friendly, low in cost, high in efficiency, and can realize any curve's cutting, convenient operation and extensive applications. Comparison between Water Cutting Machine and Laser Cutting: Laser cutting equipment requires large investment and most of them are used to cut sheet steel, some non-metal materials, featuring high cutting speed and high precision, but laser cutting will produce arc trace in the cutting joint and hereby cause heating effect; In addition, it is not ideal for some materials, such as some non-ferrous metals aluminum, copper, alloy, etc. Especially it doesn't perform well in cutting thick metal sheets with bad cutting surface or failure to cut.
