Shells small solid, easily distinguished by the heavyweight and its coloration. Spire turreted and mode-rately tall with incised sutures. Sculpture consists of coar - se spiral ribs at early whorls and at base, obsolete at penulitimate and last whorls. Axial ridges ruonded at early whorls and reducing to sharp tubercles at the sounders of to last whorls. Aperture alongate - ovate and orange, outer lip brown and smooth. Parietal wall and columella smooth and calloused with brown margin. Siphonal canal wide and short, fasciole developed. Color dark brown.
