Rope makes an electric fence that is much more visible than wire or twine. It does not require braced end posts and it is easy to hand knot. Round rope doesn't wind-whip as much as electric ribbons, so post spacing can be wider. The higher breaking strength allows it to handle much more abuse. Rope works great for making electric gates. This RO4 rope is 4 times more conductive than RO2 or 9 strand twine since the stainless steel conductors are .4mm diameter compared to .16mm.
