Anisotropic type magnets are sintered permanet magnets composed of strontium ferrite and are pressed in a magnetic field for preferred direction.
They have only in this preferred direction good magnetic properties and can be magnetized only in this direction. At the same magnetic volume a higher magnetic flux is obtained than with isotropic magnets.
A dry pressed magnet is formed by molding into the desired shape.
