Multi-Channel H.264 Encoder Multiplexer (SMP260) is Wellav’s new generation encoder that can perform real-time encoding up to 6 programs for content re-distribution needs. Based on the customer needs, SMP260 can encode H.264 (also known as MPEG-4 AVC or Part 10) or MPEG-2 in SD or HD format with ASI and IP output. With ASI and IP input, SMP260 supports PID remapping and EPG data insertion and multiplexing. SMP260 encoder provides a cost-effective yet scalable solution for network operators to compress the real-time programs for content redistribution.
