Due to its porosity, the ceramic column can trap more than 99.99 per cent of the waterborne organic and inorganic solids and bacteria down to 0.9 microns. The 2nd Stage: The filtration element is composed of the first stage filtration element and granular activated carbon which traps organic matters like: aromatic hydrocarbons, phenols, clorinated hydrocarbons, pesticides and so on. The carbon also improves the color, the taste and the odor of the drinking water.
