BALL GUM PLANT
Introduction:
Ball
gum is a ball shaped coated gum. It is a type of confectionery which is designed to be
chewed rather than swallowed. Ball gum is very popular among children and young
one too!
Manufacturing Process:
Ball
gum manufacturing is a simple process involving three stages mixing, forming
and packing. Desired quantity of gum
base is heated in a steam jacketed Sigma Mixer to its melting point & then required
ingredients are added and mixed. The mixed mass enters into the extruder
to form a thin rope of required shape. The
rope then enters into the Ball forming machine where ball gums are formed
in required size. The Ball gums are
then transferred to the cooling conveyor for cooling, ensuring accurate
shape of the finished product. Then Ball gums are transferred to the coating
pan for coating, coloring & polishing. The finished ball gums are packed in
the required packing by packaging machine.
