The HT-05 Series employs a "snap-acting" bi-metal element to sense overload. When an overload reaches the calibrated trip point of the bi-metal element the contacts"snaps-open", disconnecting the load, causing the reset button to pop-out, thus providing visual trip indication. The circuit will remain disconnected until manually reset.
