Bullet Proof Graffiti Armor

Bullet-Proof  utilizes revolutionary nanotechnology and is a high-performance, highly fluorinated and durable NON-SACRIFICIAL coating formulated for applications requiring extremely high-slip characteristics and chemical resistance.  This Bullet-Proof  exhibits outstanding, long-lasting performance properties.  This product is the world’s first graffiti deterrent coating as most spray paints, lacquers, enamels and adhesives chemically can not stick to it.  When a tagger attempts to vandalize a surface protected with the Seal America’s Bullet Proof Graffiti Armor, the taggers paint will crawl together and run off the surface.  Bullet-Proof is a penetrating, non-yellowing, non-whitening, non-toxic, permanent weather-proofing and Anti-Graffiti treatment. The product is highly resistant to hydrocarbons, graffiti, ozone, salt spray, acid rain, and a wide variety of chemicals and is VOC and AQMD compliant. The fluorinated polymer makes this coating impervious to UV degradation. This Product exhibits outstanding weathering characteristics by allowing for expansion, contraction, building movement and temperature extremes.  The product will allow moisture vapor to escape while not allowing moisture to enter the structure.  Bullet-Proof is ideal for architectural masonry, stone, wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, glass, brick, masonry and concrete applications.   Bullet-Proof  provides a high quality finish in either glossy or matt, and offers exceptional performance.

Meets all US Military industrial coating specifications.

Bullet-Proof  is non-toxic, , environmentally friendly, non-reactive and has a HMIS B Rating for Personal Protection.  Bullet-Proof is a two component coating system supplied in two separate containers.  Good surface preparation and cleaning of all substrates to be coated is essential for optimum performance of the coating system.  All surfaces to be coated should be clean, dry and free from contaminants.  For optimum appearance properties, spray two coats to a minimum of 2 mils DFT/50 microns DFT.  Always allow each coat to “flash off” to a tacked state prior to applying a following coat.  Refer to label for additional detailed instructions.

Special fire fighting procedures: Full emergency equipment self-contained

breathing apparatus and full protective clothing should be worn by fire

fighters. Avoid spreading burning liquid with water. Fight fire from safe

distance. Shut off all power to the area. Emergency lights must be turned

on. Cool closed containers with water spray. Use supplied air-breathing

equipment for enclosed areas. Unusual fire and explosion hazards. Liquid

is irritating to eyes. Empty product containers retain product residue. Do

not weld, cut, or expose to flame or spark.

REACTIVITY DATA

- Stability: Stable

- Conditions to Avoid: Extreme heat, open flames or sparks, depletion of

inhibitor and oxygen.

- Incompatibility (Material to Avoid): Trimethylol propane is used in the

manufacture of the resin used in this product; therefore it should not be

combined with phosphorus containing materials because toxic fumes

may be emitted in a fire situation.

- Avoid oxidizing Materials: Acids, Bases, or Hydrogen Peroxide.

PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING AND USE

- Steps to be taken in Case Material is Released or Spilled:

- Remove all sources of ignition (Flame, hot surfaces, and electrical static,

or frictional sparks). Avoid breathing vapors, ventilate area, contain and

remove with inert absorbent and non-sparking tools.

- Waste Disposal Method:

- Dispose of in accordance with local state and federal regulations.

Incinerate in approved facility. Do not incinerate closed containers.

- Precautions to be Taken in Handling and Storage:

- Do not store above 40 deg C. Store large quantities only in buildings

designed to comply with OSHA 1910-106. Keep closures tight and

container upright to prevent leakage. Do not store or use near heat,

sparks or flame. Never use pressure to empty. Drum must not be

washed out or used for other purposes. Drums of this material should be

grounded when pouring.

Other Precautions:

Do not get in eyes. Prevent prolonged or repeated breathing of vapors or

spray mist. Avoid breathing of sanding dust. Wash skin thoroughly with soap

and water after handling. Close container after each use. Do not transfer this

product to unlabelled containers. Do not handle until the manufacturer safety

precautions have been read and understood. Keep out of the reach of children.

CONTROL MEASURES

- Respiratory Protection if desired or in enclosed environments:

- Use a NIOSH- approved respirator to prevent overexposure when in

enclosed spaces, when exposure exceeds occupational exposure

limits (Section II). Use either an atmosphere-supplying respirator or

an air-purifying respirator for organic vapors in compliance with 29

CFT 1910-134, with provision for mist removal if conditions so

indicate.

Ventilation:

All application areas should be ventilated in accordance to OSHA

regulation 29 CFT 1910.107,1910.108. Protective Gloves: Recommended.

Eye Protection: Safety eye wear including splashguards or side shields

recommended.

Storage & Handling

Hazardous Goods: Paint, Flammable Liquid, UN1263 Class III Hazchem

3YE

Storage - Coatings must be stored and handled in compliance with all

current local regulations applying to flammable liquids. Store in cool, dry

protected storage, well ventilated, at between 5 - 40 deg C and out of

direct sunlight, moisture or rain. Maintain unmixed material in sealed

containers at all times.
