During operation, room air is drawn through the prefilter on top, forced through the blower and then through the HEPA filter and diffuser. The clean air in the work area in the enclosure meets or exceeds ISO Standard Class 5 conditions defined per ISO Standard 14644-1 and Class 100 conditions as defined by Federal Standard 209E. Each enclosure uses HEPA filter, which is rated at least 99.99% efficient for 0.3-micron particles.
