Description:
Low-sulphur expanded graphite yarns are twisted together and braided into packing with various woven style. This packing has an extremely low coefficient of friction. Graphite is a heat conductor and dissipated heat in the stuffing box, permitting higher shaft speeds and less leakage than other packings. It also shows good chemical resistance and high elasticity characteristics.
Application:
All rotating and reciprocating shafts, valves and agitators, pumps, mixers, seperators, etc.
Recommended for: Strong caustics, acids, chemicals and high pressure steam.
