The price of the original EPSON ink cartridge is expensive, how to decrease and save the cost of printing is our concern. The ink level of EPSON intelligent cartridge is recorded in the chip IC, which accurately records and controls the ink level. It cannot be reused even though the empty ink cartridge is refilled, and it results in high expense.

2.Keep the two units in firm contact. If the red light is blanking 3 seconds, red light turns to green, it shows the reset operation is successful. If the red light is blanking 3 seconds, red light stays on shows the reset operation is failure.
3.Cartridge is now ready for refilling with ink.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1.After the red LED flash, it stays on and doesn’t turn green
a). The pins on the resetter are not in good contact with the chip on the cartridge.

The contact may be dirty or oily.

b) Cartridge chips are broken.

2. Print line after filling ink
a). The quality of the ink you are using may be inferior. We recommend using inks that are specifically matched to Epson’s original colors and other characteristics. (Especially if you are printing digital photographs.)

b). Air bubbles entrapped in ink. Allow the cartridge to rest for 24 hours with the ink exit nozzles facing down before using.

c) Don’t use vacuum refill method to fill the ink into Epson original cartridge.

Refill instruction:

1. Drill hole on the cartridge which is use up or nearly use up. Attention: Filling ink when 10% Ink left in the cartridge, then use CY-968 resetter to reset chip. In this way, it can prevent original chip becoming compatible chip (the printer show it is not original cartridge for each printing), avoid original cartridge sensor broken easily. (picture 4)

2. Stuff the rubber on the air hole. ( Picture 5 )

 3.  Insert the vacuum refill tool into hole of cartridge, take up and down the refill tool, the Cartridge can be full after doing it several times. ( Picture 6 )

4. Stuff the rubber on the filling hole, take out the rubber in the air hole. ( Picture 7,8 )

5. Use CY-968 to reset it, Cartridge can be used again.
