LWGY series Turbine Flow sensor (Hereafter referred as sensor)

Installation Operation and Regulation

(1) Installation

  Flow sensor should be installed horizontally or vertically. When a sensor is installed vertically, the fluid must flow up. The pipe must be filled with liquid without bubble. When the sensor being fixed, we should make the way of fluid flowing in according on the way of arrow printed on the outer shell. In upriver, the straight tube is at least 20 times as long as nominal diameter. In downriver, there is a straight tube with at least 5 times as long as nominal diameter. The inside wall should be smooth and clean without pit, dirt and other defect. Pipe axis of sensor aligns the axis of neighbor pipe. Dont put the gasket for sealing and connecting into the interior of pipeline.

 If the fluid is impure, filter should be needed. The number of strainer screen depends on the complexion of impurity. Generally, the number is 20~60. If the fluid includes free gas, we need install some device to remove these gases. Whole of the pipe system should be pressurized well.

  The user need understand something about erosion of measured medium. Prevent the sensor from being corroded.

(2) Operation and Regulation

* Before using the sensor, make sure the liquid is clean that havent fiber, granule and so on.

* In the process of using, at first, the sensor should be filled with liquid slowly, and then open the valve gate. If not, the sensor will be impacted by fluid with a high speed. Anyhow, this condition is forbidden.

* The maintenance cycle is usually half a year. When we clean, examine and repair it, please be careful that dont scathe parts in the heart of measurement device, especially the vane wheel. When set it up, please pay attention to the ubiety between director element and vane wheel.

* If you dont plan to use the sensor for a long time, you should clean it, then cover it with a exposure suit to prevent the dust come in, and keep it in a dry condition.

* The filter should be cleaned periodically after using a period of time. If you dont want to use it, the method of conserving is as same as the sensors.

* The transmission cable of sensor can fly in the air, or be buried in the earth (If choose the later, please put it in a pipe).
