Vanadium-nitrogen is an excellent additive for the steel making, which may significantly improve and strengthen the general mechanical property and the welding mechanisms of the steel products as well as the safety and the anti-seismic performance of the buildings.
As compared with the vanadium steel at the same condition, V-N steel requires less vanadium additive by a decrement of 40%, only with content of 0.03~0.04% vanadium. In comparison to the ferro-vanadium, about 20-40% of vanadium resource can be saved thus reducing the cost of steel making.
