Designed specifically for the elevator industry, draka's pit alert water detection system alerts you to leaks or flood conditions in the pit that could cause damage to the elevator and cabling.
If water is detected by the probes, they signal the controller (either by direct cable connection or by the wireless sensor) to alert technicians that the pit being flooded. The pit alert system can even signal the elevator controller to move the cab to an upper floor to keep travelling cables dry.
Pit alert is easily installed (use either batteries or a 9v plug-in converter) and comes with a two-year limited warranty.
The pit alert system has three components: Controller, wireless sensor and water probe.
