After the motor drives the drum to the full speed, the feed value automatically turns open and the material is fed into the drum through the feed pipe. With the help of the rabble blade, the solid-phase material is evenly distributed inside the drum, and under the action of the centrifugal force, the liquid-phase material passes through the filter cloth and the filter holes on the drum and then discharged out of the machine via the liquid discharging pipe. As the thickness of the filter cake increases, the rabble blade rotates correspondingly and then it turns to a certain angle, it touches the limit switch and cute of f the time relay and thus the feed value is shut off and the feeding stops. At the same time, the washing value automatically turns open and the washing liquid is spayed onto the filter cake by means of the washing pipe. After the through washing value is shut off and the centrifuge continues dehydrating and spin-drying. Then the scraper rotates off the material, which is discharged out of the machine by means of gravity.
Applications
Model GD centrifuge is a type scraper discharging filtrating centrifuge with the granule size greater than 10um, with the granule concentration by weight greater 25% and with the viscosity less than 102pa.s. A combined hydraulic and electric control mode is adopted for centrifuge of this series and the automation of relatively high degree is realized. The feeding, dehydrating, washing and discharging can either be manually operated with the operating time for each procedure adjustable. Or can be full-automatically controlled be PC. Horizontal scraper centrifuges have found wide applications in chemical, light-industry, food, pharmacy, metallurgical and other industries for the separating of hundreds of materials such as thiamine, nickel sulfate, ferrous sulfate, starch, boric acid, anthracene, polycinyl chloride, urea, heavy alkali, sodium hydroxide, common salt, potassium chloride, potassium sulfate, etc.
