World Cultural Heritage Sites------Tulou(earthen circle building ) 

the unique residential architecture of Fujian Province was included on the UNESCO's World Heritage List Sunday during the 32nd session of the World Heritage Committee that is taking place in Quebec, Canada. A tulou building usually consists of packed earth on the outer wall and a wooden internal framework. The buildings are nestled among hills and streams, reflecting Chinese traditional architectural designs, fengshui practices and the close relationship between man and nature. Earthen dwellings of Nanjing County, Southern Fujian, are a unique type of architecture in the world. Among them, Tianluokeng Earthen Dwelling and Hegui Earthen Dwelling have been rated as national treasures.
