CMT - Compact Multi Tool

CMT is a user-friendly wireless multi-brand diagnostic tool. Together with PC or Pocket PC it makes a powerful tool for the independent workshop. Regular updates are available for subscribers.Systems which can be diagnosed are:

On Pocket PC you have a possibility to run a Scan function for Ford and VAG. This allows test all available systems in the vehicle automatically.The software includes a comprehensive database with full OBD capabilities. Options such as wiring diagrams and descriptions can be added.

 

CMT is available in two versions: CMT Scan and CMT Pro

CMT Scan is a 搇ight?version which allows you to diagnose vehicles with a 16-pole diagnostic socket. You can perform OBD (manufacture specific diagnostics), read and erase fault code, erase service indicators and via EOBD/OBDII read live data.

CMT Pro is the professional version for full OBD which allows you to diagnose even older vehicles. OBD adapters for most common brands, such as VAG, PSA, MB, BMW, Renault, Fiat, Volvo, Saab etc. are available as an option. You can perform OBD (manufacture specific diagnostics), read and erase fault code, erase service indicators, read live data, basic settings of ECU磗, programming (incl. keys) and component activation. Some examples of more specific Functions available in the PRO system that are applicable to everyday repair are:

The Hardware

CMT (Compact Multi Tester) is an affordable and easy-to-use handheld diagnostic instrument. Together with a Pocket PC it makes a powerful tool for the independent workshop. You can perform serial diagnose (OBD/OBDII/eOBD) read/erase fault codes and perform service reset. Live data can be read via eOBD. The diagnose-instrument is Bluetooth-based, which means you are able to work wireless up to 10 meters away from the car.

 

Wireless

CMT is standard equipped with Bluetooth, which allows you to use the tool up to 10 meters from the vehicle. If PC used, you can even connect the CMT via the built-in USB port.

 

Communication Standards

CMT covers the most common communication standards such as CAN, SAE J1850, KWP 2000 etc. CMT is fully compatible to EOBD/OBDII standards.
