Physics and chemistry nature： white crystal, relative density is 3.31. deliquescent in air, easy to dissolve in water, slightly dissolve in sterols, insoluble in acetone, loose crystallization water at 280℃ and to be anhydride, decompose as zinc oxide(ZnO) and sulfur trioxide at 740 ℃.

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
White or slight-yellow crystal,loose and no agglomeration,easy soluble in water and slightly dissolvable in alcohol and glycerol.,insoluble liquid ammonia and ketone. Tending to lose water molecules of hydration in dry air and become white powder appearance.When the temperature is 280℃,it will become no water substance and lose all the crystal water.When the temperature is above 500℃,it will decompose.

APPLICATIONS: It is mainly used as raw material for zinc salts, Zinc stearate, Zinc carbonate ,Zinc Borate,Zinc Dimethyldithiocarbamate and lithopone and so on.It is used as a main subsidiary material for electrolyse pure zinc, electroplate industry,washing the mine of lead and zinc,zinc plating of wire and circulate cooling water treatment and so on.It is also used as antisepticise of wood,leather preservation, bone glue fine and preservation and dyestuff in printing and dyeing
