Microhardness:1800-2200 kg/mm2,toughness higher than silicon carbide. Abrasive articles made of it is suited for grinding metals of high-tensile strength such as steel, annealed malleable iron and hard bronze etc..Browm fused alumina can also be used for making high-class refractory products.
