Introduction

Majority of 2G repeaters adopts analogy manner in which the RF,IF signals and signals transmitted to the BTS are analogy, which is with disadvantages, such as large size of dimension, easy to be interference source.

There is no uniform standards for interface connecting analogy repeaters to BTS, repeaters need s to give varies interface for BTS, which not only increase the development cost, also brings inconvenience to the production and maintenance.

Digital Repeater Principle:

l  The digital intermediate frequency unit mainly convert RF signal into digital signal.

l  The digital proceeding unit realize each function of GSM digital extending through signal proceeding.

l  The digital transmission unit realized the digital baseband signal optical transmission

l  RF unit amplifies power of RF signal and low noise receiving of small signal.
