1.Product description
Huatai HT8500A is a mode which accord with International currency technique standard 1550nm External Modulation Optical Transmitter, complete appliance light source adopts narrow bandwidth ( 0.65MHz ), low noise, continuous wave DFB laser, it is propitious to reduce the influence of chromatic dispersion. Complete appliance signal modulation adopts appropriative LiNbO3 external modulator of USA JDS-U company, combine with optimal control technology from Huatai independent intellectual property rights, to reach "back to back" CNR ≥ 53dB, CTB ≤ -65dB, CSO ≤ -65dB, SBS: 13, 16, 18dBm adjustable high index. Complete appliance equipped completely RS232 communication interface and SNMP network management, 1+1 power backup, chassis temperature auto control.

HT8500AC: Laser adopts 1548~1563nm CATV standard wavelength, dual fiber output.
HT8500AU: Laser adopts ITU standard wavelength, wavelength tunable, dual fiber output. Through the LCD menu in the front-panel, push the button with +or-0.05nm adjustable, adjust and set up the laser wavelength around +or-200GHz (+or-1.6nm), suitable for the network upgrade and expend.

3.Main application
@ Head-end of large and medium-sized CATV central office, use for main route network and distribution network. Analog digital mixture transmission >200Km (with dispersion compensation). Pure digital transmission (without dispersion compensation) >400Km, (with dispersion compensation) >700Km.
@ HT8500AU ITU wavelength adjustable, apply to DWDM fiber optic CATV system increment business and CFG dispersion compensation system.
@ It should be used in branch FTTH that has high system index demand. Point to Point>65Km, CSO≤-65dB. It should supply RFTV and IPTV, VOD etc. Increment business to the two-class server users with high performance and high reliability.
