Screen drum (pulping machine)
Application
Generally, drum screen is arranged after medium-consistency pulper Series ZDS or series ZDF impurity separator, and is used for screening out all kinds of light or impurities such as plastics, rubber, sand, stone, metal pieces, film, etc.
Design feature
LSG series screen drum consists of screening drum, driving roller, vat, inlet trough, shower pipe, etc. As the screening drum rotating, pulp is conveying forward by screw flight in drum. By gravity, accepts and fine impurities passing though 10mm screening holes enter the vat. The larger impurities retained onscreen plate is pushed forward to the end by screw flight. The fiber adhered to the impurities is washed off by fan nozzles in order to prevent fiber loss with impurities discharging.
·Simple structure, safe and reliable in operation, and high efficiency in coarse screening.
·Used with medium-consistency pulpers or impurity separators to screen out coarse impurities, improving the purifying efficiency of process.
