Specifications

Our Steel Doors are fabricated using two high quality galvanized steel sheets over a kiln cured perimeter wood frame.  Polyurethane foam is injected into the central cavity and cured to created a rigid bonded core.
1. Door surface panels are 24 gauge galvanized cold rolled steel sheet, conversion-coated to permit paint bonding on both sides. Two coats of polyester are applied to the surface sheets. The doors have flush or embossed face sheets.
2. Door stiles and rails dried, primer coated pine. A full thermal break cavity is provided. As a stile side installation fitting aid, 1/8" can be requested.
3. A full 10’’ to 12" wood lock block is provided for reinforced mounting of the lockset and/or deadbolt.
4. The polyurethane core is formed inside the door cavity and chemically bonded to all interior surfaces for minimum thermal transfer.
5. All door surfaces are factory primed white.  Depending on customer requirements, other finishes may be applied.
6. Doors are prepared to receive hinges and standard lock sets. The latch bore can be prepared face bore, back-set, or a edge bore with latch plate routing.  Optional deadlock preparations are available.
