1. Characteristics:

* YT928 belongs to RTV-1

* Neutral curing, non-corrosive to metal, coated glass, concrete, marble etc;

* Excellent resistance to weather, and the service life is over 50 years in the condition of general weather;

* Excellent resistance to low and high temperature change. Little changes of performance at 40~150℃;

* Excellent adhesion to most common building material without priming;

* High intensity, High adhesion, mid modulus, high flexility;

* Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.

* Belong to non-dissolvent product, low vulcanization shrinkage and green environmental protection product.

2. Purpose:

* For structural glazing in glass, stone(marble, granite), aluminum curtain wall, glass roof and metal structure engineering;

* As a secondary edge adhesive sealant;

* Many other uses.

* YT928 310ml Cartridge net 300ml, 590ml multi-membrane cartridge. ·

7. Restriction of Usage:

* Unsuitable for all kinds of material that can effuse grease, plasticizer or solvent; ·

* YT928 is unsuitable for the airproof location, because it is required to absorb moisture in air to cure for the sealant;

* Unsuitable for the frosty or moist surface;

* Unsuitable for the continually soggy or moist place;

* Cannot be used if the temperature is below 4℃ or above 40℃ on the surface of the materials.

8. Technical Service:

* Offer the integral technical data of the products.

* Adhesion test: The products of YT928 silicone sealant have excellent adhesion to most common building material, as glass, anodized aluminum, ceramictile, granite, brick, wood, steel and most plastics. But we cannot ensure our sealants are suitable to all materials, as a result of the unceasing appearance of new building materials and the application of new surface treatment technology. In some cases, it is required to have the adhesion test on the substrates. In the laboratory of our company, we can carry out the adhesion test for clients and give the test report that includes experimental result, recommended products. Cleaning methods of the material surface etc.

* Compatibility Test: If the accessory materials like baker, double-sided glue strip can not be compatible with silicone rubber, it may cause silicone rubber to turn colors, even lose adhesion, To avoid these problems, we provide services of compatibility test for clients. Clients can send the accessory to us by mail(or other ways), then we will carry out the compatibility test ane give the test report.

* Staining Test: We provide services of pollution test for clients. Clients can send the substrates to us by mail(or other ways), then we will carry out the staining test and submit the test report.

9. Joint Design:

* The joint design of silicone structural sealant must be carried out according to JGJ102"The Technical Order of Glass Curtain Wall Engineering"by professional designers;

* The width and thickness of silicone strucrural sealant are no less than 6mm;

* The width of silicone structural sealant should be greater than or equal the thickness;

* The joint of silicone structural sealant can be full of the sealant according to common working procedure;

* The design strength of silicone sturctural sealant for short term is 0. 14Mpa, and the permanent load design strength is 0. 007 Mpa;

* The adhesive width and thickness design of silicone structrual sealant must be carried out according to JGJ102"The Technical Order of Glass Curtain Wall Engineering";

* The sealant should be able to exposure in the air. Cannot move the joint during the cure.

11. Safety

* Non-toxicity when cured;

* Avoid eye contact before curing. Lf happened, rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water, then consult with a doctor;

* Keep away from children;

* Ensure adequate ventilation at workplace or curing area.

12. Maintenance: Generally there needs no repairing. If impaired in sealing joints, clean with proper solvent and repair with our products that can adhere well.

13. Cure Time:

* YT928 begins cure from surface to deep after exposure in the air. The Tack-Free Time is about 60min, and the entire curing takes place after 21 days.
