Flexitank is designed for the transportation of liquids in 20' steel containers. It is conceived as expendable packing for the transportation of not only food-type products in liquid form but also of industrial liquids .
Flexitanks range in size from 10 000 to 24 000 liters (depending on product density), but can be manufactured to accommodate specific capacity requirements. They are designed to maximize utilisation of containers to achieve an optimum payload of 16 - 24 tons, depending on road weight restrictions.
Flexitanks are made using custom formulated blended polyethylene, the ingredients of which are approved by the US Food & Drugs Administration (FDA) for the carriage of a wide range of liquid foodstuffs.
