588(522) 200% strength sulphur black BR has more reddish shade than 501. Its appearance is bright thin flakes and solubility is fine.

521 200% strength sulphur black B, Its shade is more blueish. On the shade, sulphur black 521 B assumes blueinsh, sulphur black 501 BR assumes blue-reddish, sulphur black 588(522) BR assumes redder and sulphur black 3R assumes bright red.
