Brief introduction:

SN-38 is the catabolite of CPT-11, pure products are white needle crystal, soluble in dimethylsulfoxide, slightly soluble in methanol, ethanol, almost insoluble in water and hloroform. Soluble in hot ethanol and DMF Mp.224°C. Mainly used in preparing CPT-11. SN-38 can be used in curing small-cell carcinoma of the lung, cancer of rectum with VP-16, adriamycin and bleomycin etc..
