Nowadays, series F auxiliary switch often uses contact style of mechanical friction, with universal disadvantages of poor contact, poor environmental suitability, low protection grade, and high cycle life. Especially when the bus-bar voltmeter or the protection switchs the double bus-bar system, incident happens because of poor contacts.
To resolve this problem, we use vacuum reed switch instead of mechanical contact, which are adopted in series ZKF vacuum auxiliary switchs. Its advantages present as follow: make and break well; operation life of 100,000 times; maintenance free; and excellent compatibility. ZFK series are used widely for relays circuit switch and signal acquisition circuit. They also apply to protection circuit, electromagnetic lock circuit, secondary circuit of disconnect switch, and breakers double controlling intermediate circuit.
Features of Structures and Capability
To achieve full compatibility, series ZKF adopts the same shape and size as series F. Item ZKF2 is the same as item F1 & item F2. It has small volume and high reliability.
The core part of the series ZKF is enclosed as an unit to strengthen the reliability. The motion part rotor is assembled with permanent magnet steel, and placed in the stator, but no friction with the stator, so revolving shaft moves flexibly that there is no jamming.
The top of the switch adopts quick-acting mechanism. After the shaft swings in 75°,under the influence of energy storing switch, the shifting tip drives the rotor to move quickly and stop over at the terminal point. The terminal uses the combination screw, washer, which can rise and fall automatically when the bolt is tight and loose, and its also convenient for wiring.

1. Adaptable
The switch with mechanical contact sometimes causes poor contact when the contact is corroded quickly in corrosive environment. Different with series F, contacts of series ZKF are enclosed in vacuum tube that they can still have good capability of making and breaking even its surrounded with dust, damp, and corrosion. To meet various requirements from clients, series ZKF can have different ways of installing, different angles of rotation, and different central heights. Except for the main auxiliary contacts of the breaker, ZKF series can replace F series.
2. Long Lifetime & Antijamming
The vacuum tubes of ZKF series can be used for over 100,000 times, which is much more than the mechanical contacts. The permanent magnet steel, which controlling the process of making and breaking, is made of rear earch magnet, and its ferromagnetic. The configuration of the switch can resist the interference from the magnetic field and electric field effectively.
3. High Mechanical Strength & little overhauling
The parts of series F are so loose that they often require overhauling. Differently, series ZKF uses epoxy to seal the center part- vacuum tube with connection bar into the stator. With the high mechanical strength, loosing contacting happens rarely, and it saves much trouble.
4. Good Electrical Contact
Series F auxiliary switchs uses contact style of mechanical friction, and the contact area is usually blackened because of the electric arc, which seriously effect the contact. However, the contacts of series ZKF work under vacuum or inert gases, and creat no electric arc under rated current to make sure good contact.
