This camera has built-in a wide dynamic sensor which samples each pixel many times in a single capture frame. DPS also calculates the changing rate of light. Thus it can provide a wider dynamic range per pixel. Even there is a large contrast between light and dark in the same image frame, the quality of the image remains intact.
