Vacuum Insulation Panel (VIP) is a new highly-efficient thermal insulation material which was developed in 2006.
The VIP’s are constructed using a special technique by inserting the open-celled filler into a centralized sealed barrier.
Using the core material which provides the structural strength and resistance for heat transfer makes the VIP extremely efficient in low thermal conductivity that has less than 0.005w/m.k.
The VIP has been proven to exceed its performance than the conventional insulations by far. Vacuum Insulation panels are our new high- efficient thermal insulation. It is created by inserting the open celled filler into a centralized sealed barrier. The core material provides the structural strength and resistance to heat transfer.

VIP is used in refrigerators: the energy that can have savings of 10%-30%, it also can increase the capacity by 20%-30%, although the price of VIP is not cheap, the expenditure of applying VIP is almost the same with the energy-saved by 7-10 years of refrigerator usage. By taking the VIP as insulating material, besides the economic reasons, it is also of light weight, thin wall and also used in refrigerator and freezer doors.
 
VIP used in deepfreeze: When taking PUF or PSF as insulating material, the heat reserving period is only 1-2 days; after applying VIP, the insulating period can be postponed to 4-5 days, it is  cost effective enough in terms of shipping to use  air freight  due to the light weight of the panels.
VIP used in cold storage box: Under the condition that store the same items in the box:1) When using PU foam as insulating material, the dimension is 57cm,50cm,50cm, the thickness of insulating material is 3.8 cm, contain 21.8kg refrigerant in the box, the insulating period is 120h.2) When using VIP as insulating material, the dimension is 33cm,46cm,28cm, the thickness of insulating material is 2.5cm, contain 7kg refrigerant in the box, the insulating period is 200h.
If applying the VIP, the volume of cold storage can be reduced by 70%, the refrigerant can be reduced by 68%, but the insulating period can be prolonged by 66%, plus reduced fright costs, which is of great economic effect.
